Competition & Giveaway Terms

The following details are published with each competition — on the relevant post, page or email — and form part of its terms:

• Competition name
• Entry period, including start date and closing date and time
• How to enter, and any limit on entries per person
• The prize and its approximate retail value
• How and when the winner is selected
• How the winner will be notified and the deadline to claim

• Open to residents of Australia, unless the competition states otherwise.
• Entrants under 18 must have parent or guardian permission to enter and to claim a prize.
• Employees of BEST SWIM and their immediate families are not eligible.
• Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, automated or submitted after the closing time are invalid.

Entry is free and the specific entry method is stated with each competition. We may disqualify any entry we reasonably believe breaches these terms, uses multiple or fake accounts, or is otherwise manipulated.

• Prizes relate to our swim caps, such as the BEST Performance Dome Cap, unless the competition states otherwise.
• Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• If a prize becomes unavailable, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
• Prizes are delivered within Australia at our cost.

Winners are selected by the method published with the competition — usually a random draw, or judging where entries are creative. Where judging applies, the judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners are notified using the contact details supplied at entry. If a prize is not claimed by the published deadline, we may redraw or select another winner.

Where entry involves submitting a photo, video or caption, you confirm it is your own and that everyone shown has consented. You grant us permission to reshare your entry on our website and social channels with credit, and you keep ownership of it. Consent from a parent or guardian is required for entries featuring people under 18.

Entry information is used to run the competition and contact winners, and is handled under our Privacy Policy. Entering does not sign you up to marketing — that is always a separate, optional choice.

We may amend these terms or cancel a competition where reasonably necessary, including for technical failure or circumstances beyond our control, subject to any applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
